Where hard water stains come from
A lot of homes around Orillia, Oro-Medonte, Severn and Ramara run on well water, which is high in calcium and other minerals. When a lawn sprinkler hits your windows, or shower water dries on the glass, those minerals are left behind as white spots. The longer they sit, the harder they bond to the glass.
Regular window cleaning won't remove them, and scrubbing with the wrong product can scratch the glass. We use a treatment made for mineral deposits that breaks them down, then polish and rinse the glass until it's clear again.

Can every stain come out?
Most can. If mineral deposits have been left for years, they can etch into the glass itself. We'll tell you up front what we can fully remove and what will improve but not disappear, so there are no surprises.
Preventing it from coming back
Point your sprinklers away from the house, or run them early so the glass isn't in direct sun. In the shower, a quick squeegee after each use makes a huge difference.
