A student-owned business, built one house at a time.
Marchmont Window Cleaning was started in the summer of 2023 by Hudson Lightfoot, a student from Marchmont, just outside Orillia. The idea was simple: give homeowners around Orillia high-quality, affordable window and gutter cleaning, and do it with the kind of care you'd want on your own house.
"I started this business because I wanted to try building something of my own and have the freedom to set my own schedule," Hudson told Invest Barrie. What started as washing windows for neighbours has grown into a full exterior cleaning business covering Simcoe County and southern Muskoka.
Today we offer window cleaning, gutter cleaning, gutter brightening, siding soft washing, hard water stain removal and solar panel cleaning. You'll often see Hudson and Jaxson on the job together.
How we work
We use a Tucker water-fed pole system that filters water down to 0 ppm, so windows dry spotless without soap. We show up when we say we will, protect your home while we work, and back every job with a 24-hour satisfaction guarantee.
